Initial Briefing

The very first step

The starting point of a project consists of the initial meeting and the establishment of the product requirements.

Here, the elements that will later be the pillars of the development are defined: primary and secondary function, functional and non-functional requirements, technical and approval requirements, manufacturing requirements, estimated cost and, if necessary, estimated selling price.

To support this stage, we can work both from a preliminary sketch and directly with an initial 3D model. Once the concept is consistent, we are able to offer a series of design alternatives to choose from.

The definition of the concept is one of the critical phases of the design process. In this sense, Round Corner provides a differential vision due to the artistic and technical training of our team.

At this point, we always send the PRD (Product Requirements Document) to the clients prior to the initial meeting in order to mature some concepts and to make the content of the meeting effective.

A good definition in this phase is vital for the success of the project in its sequential form.
