Barcelona Design Week is one of the most important multidisciplinary design events in the world. This year’s edition, ‘Design for human future’ has as its main theme water conservation as a strategy for the future and the role that design can play in this.
At Round Corner we did not want to participate in an exclusively theoretical way, but we have gone a step further in this task. In this sense, we have made an innovative exercise by designing a sustainable solution to facilitate rainwater harvesting with the intention of minimising the consumption of tap water for household chores: Raincycle.
Thus, we had the opportunity to exhibit our product at the main event and, in addition, we organised our own product presentation where we made a practical use case with our 1:4 scale prototype.
It is an honour to participate in international events of this magnitude – we are already looking forward to next year!
