The sustainable furniture project reaches the prototyping stage!

Introducing for the first time the Carboneras table and the Nerja stool prototypes.

The main objective of the project is to upcycle discarded fishing nets and other plastic waste from the Mediterranean Sea into sustainable furniture.

The furniture produced will be used both in domestic environments and in schools and other educational institutions. End users include families, schools, environmentally conscious companies and institutions promoting sustainability.

Plastic pollution in the oceans is a critical environmental problem affecting marine and terrestrial ecosystems. The oceans receive approximately 8 million tons of plastic per year, and a significant component of this pollution comes from rejected or lost fishing nets, known as “ghost nets”.

These nets continue to trap and kill marine wildlife indiscriminately, in addition to
indiscriminately, as well as contributing to habitat degradation.

We are very proud to work on design for materials recovery and contribute to the circular economy.

We keep it going!
